Will we qualify for the Champions League?
If GSB pull this off they will consider themselves vindicated considering the promises they made, and what if we do a Leicester this year and win the big one, will all be forgiven?

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
I'd love us to finish Top 4, but we wont

We may qualify for Europe some other way but CL we are not ready for. In fact the last 2 times we've been in Europe we've lasted 5 mins and gone on to endure a poor season.

Despite our good form, we don't have the squad to handle the number of games that a run in Europe demands and seriously doubt whether our owners are prepared to invest in one either.

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
Highly unlikely, I'd say, but stranger things have happened. We'd have to pick up a few more points that we have in the first 19, which is going to be tough.

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
If either of those ridiculously unlikely thing happened, it would be in spite of the owners, not because of them. They are holding Moyes back, and should never have got rid of him in the first place, wasting time and loads of money before getting him in a second time, and having the nerve to blame the fans for that.

Fuck them.

In Moyes I trust.

Come on you Irons!

GSB OUT!

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
I can’t stand the owners but it’s ridiculous to blame them for everything bad and give them zero credit for anything good. That’s not right in any walk of life.

Yes, they got rid of Moyes and brought in Pellegrini, which the vast majority of fans were happy with. After wasting millions on trying to ‘live the dream’ (Thanks Pellegrini, you useless prick) they then brought Moyes back in, again when a lot of fans were against it and underwhelmed by it. Including me.

Moyes has proved so many people wrong and the owners deserve credit for their part in that, whether you like them or not.

We’ve all also learned that having the glamour of spending millions is absolutely nothing compared to bringing in decent players with a brilliant attitude.

Missing Europe on goal difference will do me this season unless we seriously strengthen the squad. If the academy graduates deliver, this term then next season is early enough for me.

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
Champs league will be too much of a stretch, europa through 6th or 7th if everyone stays fit would be dreamland. But we are still 1 or 2 injuries away from 10/11th. Look at Soton last few weeks.

We could do the double and id still want them gone. The damage theyve done is not fixable regardless of what they say or do

Yes they deserve credit for Moyes.......but i think theyve got incredibly lucky with how Moyes has performed. More luck then judgement if you ask me

We must keep pressing the message #GSBOUT

No chance.

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
Three years ago today we were getting knocked out of the FA cup at bloody Wigan. I’ll be very happy with top seven or eight to be honest.

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
I don’t suppose we will but we are improving with every game at the moment.... a couple of decent additions in the next few days and there is no reason why the momentum can’t continue.

Barcelona we're coming for you....

2 years ago yesterday was Wimbledon in the FA Cup

Next season we could see Craig Dawson at the Bernabeu, dare to dream lads these half decent seasons seem to happen once every 5 years

Ha knew I was going to wake to a post like this

I don’t think so, I’m still looking at Top 8 beating manure in the cup and having a go.

But I am thoroughly enjoying watching this West Ham team...

Getting rid of that useless tacky tramp Brady would be a bigger step towards redemption than the fickle bollocks that is form on the pitch.

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
To the OP.

Absolutely f*cking not. In no way will I ever warm to those c*nts running the club. We could win the domestic treble and I'm sure I'd still want them out.

We won't qualify for the champions league, but it's nice to actually be talking about this topic over "Where's our next 3 points going to come from"

Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
Highly unlikely. Our target this season should be the Europa League, a decent cup run, and finishing above Spurs for bragging rights.

Stowie.40 9:58 Wed Jan 27
Re: Will we qualify for the Champions League?
Not a chance of top 4, top 10 is a massive success considering near on everyone thought we’d be fighting relegation.
